The Kitchen Table is a weekly blog written for Christian Women focusing on the common threads that we as women all share and experience. As a Daughter of the Most High God my mission is to encourage and inspire my Sisters to forge on and faint not in the every day struggles of life.

Another Sister from "The Kitchen Table"
Rise' Wampler....Mother of the Wampler Zoo
Hello, my name is Rise” Wampler, my first name is pronounced Reesa. I am married 19 yrs to my beloved husband, Rich and we have 11 adopted, special needs children and we also care for, or rather I should say she cares for us, my dear Mother. The children’s ages range from 5 yrs to 13 yrs old. We are originally from Atlanta, Georgia, but have relocated to a small area just outside of Denver, Colorado. (I promise more on that in the upcoming articles.) We also have 9 ducks, one dog, two lama, one goat, and 12 cats (I feel as though I should say and a Partridge in a pear tree! (LOL)
I am currently in my junior year in college, majoring in Psychology with a specialization in Christian counseling. I have been homeschooling my children for the last 5 yrs. Life with 11 special needs children, one unique husband and my mother, keeps my life full of joy and happiness and on many days utter chaos.
God is so good and I cannot wait to share the ups and the downs of our life with each of you.
Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers; for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
